“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”

I had also asked for 4 twin rooms but there was only 3 given and the other wad a double. Additionally there was only one bath towel in 2 of the rooms and no toilet brushes”

“This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants.The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes.

“We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary!
