“Cabin was filthy, every surface was covered in pet hair even though it was listed as no pets allowed. Dog had pooped in the closet and left it for us to find. Hot tub was disgusting I spent hours trying to get the water clear. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Owner did come out and offered a free night. I wouldn’t even stay here for free. ”

“The house was just lovely. We traveled for a relaxing, low key weekend with friends and that is just what we got! The accessories were plentiful in the kitchen with even a fire pit outside! Perfect for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The screened in porch would have been perfect if the weather had been about 15 warmer! Next time, we'll have to plan an earlier fall trip! “Wonderful getaway! We were able to land the cabin on a last minute and brief trip to enjoy the beauty and color of Mentone in the fall. The cabin was warm and comfortable and inviting -- and already decked out with a Christmas tree, which was a wonderful surprise. Its location was perfect for enjoying the local restaurants and visiting the Brow at Sunset, Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon, Fort Payne and other attractions.
