"Amazing place! They thought of everything and the town is cute too with a restaurant(depot deli and grill) and nano brewery(oversoul brewing) within walking distance. Everything looked new and clean. The outdoor deck area has a put put hole, cornhole, giant connect 4, fire pit and hot tub(not hot in summer, so more like a little pool). "We found the location convenient as it's on the main road through Mentone. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, as was the hot tub. The owner was also responsive and helpful. And having breakfast right down the hall every morning was a nice plus! Worth noting that, while the place is dog friendly, the yard is not fenced in and, again, is right on the main road. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mardi Gras house. We really hated to see that it was being sold but hopefully the new owners will continue to have it a Bed and Breakfast. It was conveniently located for all our needs. The house keeper was available at all times and very accommodating. The room was way better than expected. The decor was fabulous!!! If it does continue to be a bed and breakfast we will continue to use it as long as we can. "
