“This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. “Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! “My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you .”

"There were no outlets near any of the mirrors in the room for using a hairdryer, and the bathroom only had a socket for shavers. The only outlet closest to a mirror was at the very bottom of the full-length mirror by the entrance—almost at floor level. Since the hairdryer’s cord was too short, trying to use it in front of a mirror in the room was pure frustration. The drop-off zone in front of the hotel entrance costs £7.20 and only allows a 10‑minute stay? That's insane."
