The property is well maintained. The rooms are clean. the bed is so comfortable. Loved the shower. There are a lot of dinning options around the hotel area. The mall that is right behind it is convenient for shopping and dinning as well. The only thing i didn't like is that you get charged upfront the full amount, based on night stays, of the security deposit. It does get refunded back to you within a few days after you check out. Overall great place to stay and hotel staff is friendly, helpful and courteous.

The property is an eye pleaser no doubt, but it's staff seems emotionally not all there. Like sort of machines with automated tones & attitudes. When you pay nearly 700 bucks a night you would think they would give complimetary water, but no. If you stay in hotel residences that is not given and neither are bathroom slippers. With all that wood and water it's like asking a disaster to happen to be honest. 2ndly there's a discrepancy in pictures of actual 2 room residences compared to apparently a "corner" version of the room I thought I had booked, but no. I got no bay view even though thr east miami hotel site plasters only the corner 2 bedroom pictures on their site and not the one I got which had zero views. 3rd the only reason I did not let all that bother me is because it was my birthday & I wasn't going to let a hotel ruin that with so-so service. PS - Hotel should offer to book a table for their sugar bar & eats for guests who spend more than the avg room night costs. Lost opportunity only to be told you have to spend an extra 100 per person before even booking. I probably would have spent it if customers are made to feel special. This hotel does not do that & is kinda strange since Asian chain hotels usually excel in that. Overall a disappointing 700 bucks spent for a birthday for the family. Think I should have maybe stuck to Mandarin Oriental for the family next time. This did not feel family friendly at all.
