The rooms are a good size, but the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep with it switched on. Unfortunately, without the air conditioning, the rooms become uncomfortably hot. The hotel was reasonably clean. Cooked breakfast was disappointing, particularly the scrambled eggs, which were terrible.……

The location is perfect – right by the lake, peaceful and quiet, yet ideal for exploring the surroundings and the Castle. There are also affordable parking spaces available, which made our stay even more convenient. You can also reach the other cities by ferry. “Alberto and Simona are not just incredible people, but incredible hosts too. They go above and beyond to help and assist, offering as much as they can to give you the best possible experience. They even offered a shuttle to take me and my girlfriend for the local village, saving us money on taxi's as we didn't have a car. The 6 nights I stayed with my girlfriend felt like home, mostly due to the way the family made us feel. The breakfast: delicious and custom, the view: I cannot describe it……

We dined 3 nights at the hotel restaurant which is absolutely elegant and offers delicious food. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The island is very small and everything is “right there”.
