We had an overall very enjoyable stay at Black Rock Mountain Resort. The staff throughout the resort was attentive, welcoming, and consistently professional, which made a great impression from check-in onward. Despite the surrounding construction, the property itself felt modern, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast at Overlook Restaurant was delicious and a highlight of our stay. Our server, Patrick, was especially attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. There were a few opportunities for improvement. We had to request additional towels multiple times to match the number of guests in our room. The bed in the bedroom had a noticeable divot in the middle, which made sleeping less comfortable than expected during a relaxing vacation. We also experienced some late-night and early-morning noise from the room above, where a child was running back and forth, which disrupted rest. Overall, the service and cleanliness stood out positively, and with a few adjustments, this resort has the potential to offer an even more exceptional guest experience.

We loved staying at The Pendry. The location is extremely convenient for those looking for ski-in/ski-out properties. There are many restaurants and shops within a short walking distance, including the ski rental shop which was extremely convenient. We stayed in December and there were nightly activities for children including smores by the fire. Our room was average size, but very clean and had lovely views of the mountain. Overall, would definitely stay here again.
