"We needed a hotel for the solar eclipse that had a lawn with a western sky view. We found the Lake House that had that with a view over the lake as well, so we stayed for the eclipse that worked out perfectly. We had one pair of glasses that was defective but they lent us a welding mask that worked perfectly. The room was lake side and had a kitchen in the common area as well as a gas fireplace. We also had a dog that was welcome as well in our room. We liked the cleanliness, staff and every thing worked as it should and we highly recommend the Lake House."
