Revive your adventurous spirit, learn some campcraft at this off grid cabin with basic amenities on 26 acres of mixed woodland and on the river. Porta pottie outside.

Fire pit, grill rack. 2 Bedrooms. Hot water shower on demand. No indoor toilet.

Quiet gas powered electric generator. Gas is supplied free and more if needed, although the generator is very economical.

The property does not have wifi. (There is a smart TV that can be used with cellular data and connect to inbuilt ROKU or screen share your phone.)

Revive your adventurous spirit and immerse yourself in nature on 26 acres of mixed woodland and a river. Enjoy the unique OFF-GRID cabin equipped with basic modern amenities—including a hot water on demand system, two bedrooms, and a shower (no indoor toilet). Take a peaceful paddle down the river in an included small aluminum boat, plus enjoy a true camping experience with a fire pit, grill, and outside porta potty. Additionally, you'll have the convenience of a quiet, gas-powered electric generator (with the first 10 gallons of propane gas supplied for free). With unpaved dirt road access and a nearby town, enjoy the perfect balance of privacy and proximity to urban activities. Add water to fans in the bedrooms to cool the rooms.

Pets are welcome to join you on this adventure, but please be aware that there is a fee for them since they will inadvertently make some extra work for the cleaners.

You'll probably want a 4x4 vehicle to get to this home as it is a remote property (on a rough gravel road). Use car, bike or walk, boat if you like. City of Mill Hall is close by but far enough away to enjoy your privacy.

Use care when traversing railroad tracks.
Keep infants and toddlers away from river. No smoking inside cabin. Quiet time between 11pm - 4am.

No automatic Sunday check in. Our cleaners do not clean on that day. Please request if needed.

Pets are welcome to join you.
We ask that any pets are mentioned in the booking, and owners clean up after their pets and dispose of any waste properly. Please be aware there is a $100 fee for their stay.

Neat water-front spot but a little noisy
The highway can be heard from the south side and First Quality Paper factory can be heard from the North. Eventually, the sounds blend into the background but, some users may find this jarring upon arrival. Also, the "air conditions" are evaporative (really just humidifiers) and don't really provide any cooling.

Wildlife Retreat family stay
Beautiful stay; great outdoor experience for the whole family; had a great time hanging by the fire making mountain pies & s’mores; enjoyed using the boat out in the river with the great outdoor views. We will def be returning back.
