The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel genuinely welcomed; they are a warm, gracious couple whose hospitality felt both sincere and thoughtfully personal. Each morning, they prepared a breakfast that was truly outstanding. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with ample towels, blankets, and amenities. They even graciously invited us to use their kitchen table for dinner, which further enhanced the homely……

“We think of a B&B in the traditional way, where someone welcomes you into their home. This was more like an Air B&B, but with continental breakfast supplied. We were lucky enough the first morning to find someone to call a cab for us, but never saw anyone after that except other guests. It was nice to have access to a fridge to keep drinks cold, but we were expecting a homemade breakfast.”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”
