Our experience at Ashfield Bed and Breakfast was great. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and quiet, We enjoyed breakfast each morning and appreciated quick access to public transportation along with quick service from local taxis and Ubers.

The staff at the Ashfield were wonderful and very helpful- especially the guy with the red hair and beard. When unexpectedly we needed to stay an extra night, he was able to accommodate our needs. The breakfast is very nice.

Very good. There is a row of shops a couple of hundred yards from the B&B which is handy for essentials.

There was nothing I didn't really dislike about the property,the rooms were clean,breakfast was continental which suited us and there was plenty choice,bus stop outside property which was good for getting in and out of town,Michael was always about if we needed anything I will definately go back .

A bit strange not actually meeting the people who run the place, but not a big problem. Nice and quiet. Good transport links. Safe off street parking. Close to the airport.

Nice place to stay

Absolutely loved our stay here. Michael was fabulous - looked after us. Short walk to the train station to get into the city - £2.00 off-peak return on the train. Nice size room; bathroom clean & tidy. Good value for money. Make sure you ask Michael for poached eggs!

Warm welcoming and friendly, highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed one night, Michael greeted us warmly and nothing was too much trouble. Check in was smooth, he showed us to our room and explained everything. Breakfast was a DIY affair, plenty of choice and he was there throughout filling things up. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend the Ashfield B&B and would book again. There is a bus stop outside that takes you into the City £2.20 each. A taxi is £11, one way. A great location, close to City Airport ( George Best).

Welcoming B&B

It is a well located B&B, near to George Best City Airport. If you don't have heavy luggage, you can walk there from the airport, but don't trust google maps: ask someone inside the airport. The taxi is around 9 pounds. The breakfast was ok, basically what you usually find in a hostel. The room was clean an organized. May be the soap used for washing the towells could be better, because the detergent smell is evident, as well as the roughness of the fabric. About the staff: I only was able to talk to Michael, a really friendly person always keen to help and orientate me on how to travel around the city. We had an issue with our bathroom around midnight, and he was really fast solving it. In general terms, it was a really good stay.

Whilst the place was conveniently located, the interior was looking very dated. The room we stayed in had a really foisty / damp smell in the bathroom. Breakfast - hmmmm, not sure which continent this continental breakfast was from but very poor, sliced packet ham, sliced packet cheese, sliced white or brown bread, croissant, pain au chocolate and 3 different cereals, very poor selection. Very thin ceilings as could hear every noise from the room upstairs. I guess, for what they charge it is very simple value for 10 minutes from Belfast centre but could easily add s few more items at breakfast - and not use supermarket savers fruit juices!!! On the plus side, if you do stay here or nearby, we would highly recommend that you visit Neills Hill restaurant which is around 7minute drive / taxi, superb food and sevice.
