"What can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing, from the top-notch hotel service at the front desk to the property cleanliness; it outshined every hotel I’ve ever been to in my life. The town of Menaggio is very walkable and can be seen in half a day, so if you want to fill up your itinerary, you can take a ferry to Bellagio, or Varenna. We opted for breakfast, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. I absolutely loved their orange juice, as well as the variety of food they offered, from the charcuterie to the main dishes to the snacks. Absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is a pretty big property for being in Maggio. Its cleanliness, gym, indoor spa with an indoor pool, sauna, and resting areas were absolutely amazing and should definitely be utilized. I want to thank Lorena, who was so helpful throughout our stay, from beginning to end. She was absolutely amazing, and the women at the front desk who assisted us absolutely deserve a raise because they work so hard and helped us with absolutely everything. I proposed to my girlfriend right in front of the hotel, and the hotel staff accommodated all my requests in helping me propose to my girlfriend of nine years, and it was just so perfect. They were helpful, kind to all of us, and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat. This is well worth your money because who knows if you’ll ever be back again so make those unforgettable memories with Grand Hotel Victoria!"

"Although it was advertised as a second floor, we truly had to walk approximately four floors from the street up to our second floor. I will say the view was beautiful, however finding the location and finding the management office to obtain the keys Was very difficult Additionally, the sofa bed was in such bad shape. We felt crippled when we left."

"Lovely hotel with easy access to the lake ferries. The back of the property is lakeside with lovely views. The pool is clean and warm, with plenty of sun loungers lining the area between the pool and lake. Breakfast was well organised, with plenty of choice. There is an outdoor eating area if you like alfresco dining. All staff were polite and friendly."

"Rafaela is a fabulous host. Apartment and garden are lovely and very spacious. It is, however, quite a challenge to actually get to the apt. There is a gardenlike/rocky steep path down to the house and numerous steps. Rafaela graciously helped us with our bags but I needed my walking poles to navigate. The car parking spot is in a separate location up the hill. We loved our stay but folks with disabilities, ill health or weakness would find the location difficult. The magnificent view and the graciousness of our host made the trek worthwhile for us tho. Rafaela even went out of her way to drop off some beach towels for us!!"

"Beautiful property, comes as advertised. Stunning views of the lake with central Menaggio only 7 minute drive away. There is also a walking path down to town center. Amazing communication by management - always prompt and responsive. We needed a new set of knives and pasta fork and management brought it the next day. The pool got dirty after two days of heavy rains and they cleaned it the next day. Would definitely book another property with them! This place is a great value and located in a ideal part of the lake (central lake Como)"

"The medieval tower apartment was absolutely perfect for our little family! We loved the history and charm of Breglia. Lucia is incredibly knowledgeable about the village and the surrounding area, and provides a ton of information that we used to plan our time there. I would encourage anyone hesitant to just go ahead and book. This is an absolutely wonderful rental with so much to enjoy in the area."
