Jim, the host, checked in halfway through our stay to see how things were going and they were going great. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing time. "A wonderful glamping experience! Everything is clean, comfortable, easy and the owners are super friendly/attentive. The place is fairly remote but if you’re looking for a friendly quiet getaway, I highly recommend it. Also the restaurant onsite makes the whole experience that much better!"

"My son and I travelled for a week through New England hiking, and none of the hotels we stayed in showed as much hospitality as the owners of the Smuggler's Notch Inn. Pat welcomed us when we arrived, gave us info on where we could get dinner (the attached Village Tavern was great), and our bedroom with attached bathroom was charming and comfortable. The icing on the cake was a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast by Pat's husband before we set off to hike Mount Mansfield. I would book there again "
