“We had a lovely stay at Grillo Iole. Ana and Mattias were very welcoming, and made us feel at home. The property and surrounding countryside are beautiful, and the apartment was spacious for our needs. We also loved the two winery dogs, who were friendly and happy to hang out with us on the terrace. Highly recommend the cellar tour and tasting, especially the exquisite Schiopettino di Prepotto, and the fabulous breakfast.”

“I stayed here only for a matter of hours (waiting for an early morning flight). The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally kind and friendly - that was the biggest takeaway for me. “This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome ”
