I was disappointed with my stay at the Stevens Point Baymont. I arrived shortly before 3pm, I was greeted by the clerk who was sitting in a lounge area off to the side of the lobby, he spoke broken english, and would be reverting back to his native language with some of his associates off and on. he asked for my drivers license, which I expected, I then asked if he needed my credit card, first said no, then said yes because he needed a $100 holding charge. no problem. He then assigned me to room 304, gave me my key, once I arrived to my room, I discovered it had not been cleaned, with the beds not changed, needless to say, I was not happy. I quickly returned to the front desk, the clerk did promptly reassigned me to another room on the first floor, but did not apologize for the ineptness of him and the staff. on a more positive note, my room was clean, I had a good night's rest, and the breakfast amenities were more than adequate. In closing, this location of Baymont Inn needs to get it's act together by the time guests arrive to check in.

Hotel is undergoing construction but they do a great job of keeping things clean and open. Super friendly and helpful staff!

Room floor was very dirty, turning the bottoms of my feet black with only minutes of walking in the room. Bathroom had no fan and was very rusty. The whole room had an awful smell from something cooked in the room previously. Could hear guests in other rooms very easily, AC unit let in water when raining.
