“This lodge is in a beautiful location with expansive views of the mountains around Julian, CA. The room was large with a pleasant bathroom with skylight. There is air conditioning in every guest room. The large living room has a TV (so do the rooms) as well as a billiard table. The kitchen was spacious and the hosts provided eggs, bread, milk, bananas, and ramen soup bowls for the guests. “Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench”

“Wow! We would definitely stay here again! My husband and I felt so happy in the cabin. The view is lovely. You can see the lake from the living room, dining room and the deck. It was so peaceful there, and very quiet at night.. We could hear the wind in the trees, watched chipmunks, heard doves and loved being surrounded by the oak and pine trees that are on the property. We enjoyed walking all of the trails on the property, especially the one that took us up to the lookout deck at the……

“This was the bad experience I have ever had as soon as I walk inside the cottage.. It was so stink and smelly. I had to drive back to town and purchase the air freshener and emptied the hole air freshener in the room. Refrigerator was making noise. I even couldn’t sleep at night And definitely climbing the ladder I had my head right on the ceiling was the most difficult challenge to go to bed I do believe they have to take care of their BEDBUG because ALL night till morning, my both legs, and……

“We loved staying at the Deer Bungalow. The bungalow was quite special, with a balcony all around, a good new jacuzzi, a dog run, and a lot of wild properly all around where our grandkids could roam and explore. John was a very responsive and kind host.”

“If you need a property to go to and relax... keep this one in mind. The area, the property is just amazing. Super clean, communication is awesome, beds are super comfortable... even the living room couch. I would highly recommend this property and no I didn't get paid for this review.
