“This was our first time in La Fortuna and we loved the location of this rental home. It was about 15 minutes from downtown and had amazing views with beautiful gardens. The pool with Arenal in the background was breathtaking. However, we didn’t realize that only the bedrooms in this rental would have AC with the main part of the house (kitchen and living room) being more like a screened in porch. We had such a wonderful stay at this property! The owners, a lovely Swiss couple, are truly kind and beautiful people who made our experience feel incredibly warm and personal. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it really showed in every detail.
The kids absolutely loved the heated jacuzzi—it was a highlight for them! And the breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care.

“We loved staying at this lovely home just outside of la fortuna! the property was clean and well stocked and the host was so helpful and quick to respond!Highly recommend having your own car if you book this place as there isnt much within walking distance. no complaints from us though, we were aware of this and had no issues.we felt safe and my kids loved seeing the unique wildlife (birds, lizards etc) right on the property.”

“The views were gorgeous. The overall setting was amazing and the restaurant next door was very helpful. Communication for anything you need at the room could be finicky.

“We had such a lovely stay at Nuaku! The hotel is tucked away in the middle of a beautiful, lush jungle, surrounded by wildlife, greenery, and all the wonderful sounds of nature. The property felt very peaceful, clean, and safe, and throughout our stay we genuinely felt at home.
