“We stayed in 4 of these new hotels within 2 weeks. This one was empty and felt sad to be so forgotten and unused after a year.
The hotel DESPERATELY NEEDS SIGNS ON THE ROAD. You have to call for directions. Google Maps is wrong and staff knows this. Unlike every other hotel, this was unmarked and we spent over an hour trying to navigate without a WiFi signal.
The road to the hotel is long with blind spots. It will take 20 min from the road. Not sure who planned that absurd bike line but a two……

“Just as we remember it but under new ownership. I missed the personalization of the founder Valerie Pickles. She would stop by at breakfast and greet the visitors. I heard the new owner wasn’t feeling well so we didn’t get to meet her.
The wonderful included breakfast did not include the signature pickle on the Ham, cheese and egg burrito. Now it was scrambled eggs but just as good. Jamaica juice, some fruit and good strong coffee too!

“El lugar muy tranquilo. A buena distancia de las ruinas de Uxmal y de la ruta Puuc así como de los centros artesanales de Ticul (alfarería, peletería) y Tecoh (guayaberas).
