"We are not a full-service hotel" was the mantra the front desk used with us and other guests I overheard asking about various unexpected shortcomings of the property. A specific, smartphone-based payment app was mandatory which would only work with a US-based phone number. This proved a difficulty as we arrived from overseas with international phone numbers.
