Much more run down. The office has a handwritten sign to call a number to check in, and someone will come and meet you. Once checked in you receive a real key attached to a keychain. On our way to our room, we passed a bunch of people sitting out in the open smoking crack. Luckily, they mostly kept to themselves. The room desperately needed some updating, but it wasn't too bad. Beds were definitely full-sized when advertised as queens. It was hard to sleep 2 people to a bed. The little kitchen was nice and functional but we didn't use it. Parking is very tricky! There are only a handful of spots in front of the office. There is a little parking around the building but it is hard to get out of as there is only 1 way in and 1 way out. It also took almost 2 weeks to get our deposit for the room back! Wifi didn't work, pool looked green, bugs in the room, and shower doors didn't close all the way. If you stay here, make sure to bring towels if you want to swim or go to the beach. You can't use their towels, or you will get fined. The good- the pool!!!!! My kids favorite part of the trip! Haha! We booked the big suite with the kitchen and separate bedroom with full size beds for my kids to sleep comfortably and a pull out couch for my toddler and the king size bed for me. I usually struggle with hotel pillows but these were awesome! We all slept great! Super comfortable bed. No bugs! Of course there are some outside, so keep the doors shut, but we had zero issues. 4 day stay with kids teen to toddler. Close enough to walk to everything, even groceries and restaurants. Free shuttle to most farther away places and even to get you down towards the beach closer or back to the hotel if you’re tired and hot. I might return, I might not. It was convenient to a lot of places.
