Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"Such a lovely little holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Teg is literally in the middle of nowhere, blink and you’ll miss the turning so make sure you read your email directions. We didn’t! We followed the sites postcode directions which aren’t specific enough. The accommodation is so quaint, lots of lovely blues and Cornish ware China, everything you need to make a cup of tea and coffee and toast and the hosts very kindly left us a cream tea to enjoy when we arrived. "It was our dream to visit St.Ives all the way from Japan and we decided to stay at this hotel which reached to our expectation. The quality and atmosphere of the room over looking the beach was impressive. The room and every corner of the hotel was taken care accurately and neatly with the a kind of pride and affection of the owner and staffs. The breakfast was not gorgeous like a modern 5 star hotel, but it was good enough to enjoy the touch of a fresh morning in England. We would love to come back again to reminisce the unforgettable experience we had this time."

"Amazing 4 night stay at Tregenna Castle. Perfect location within easy (but steep) roadway through the castles woodland walk. We paid extra for a sea view and it didn’t disappoint. Large room with comfortable bed. Food was fab… Sunday roast was to die for. 100 % would recommend staying here."

"We spent three nights in this hotel. Free parking for our rental car was a convenience. The hotel is located on a main road in Penzance and there are traffic lights right outside the entrance. As a result, traffic noise was unavoidable. The front office manager Dick also doubled up as the bar tender. He was courteous and helpful. The thing that my family liked the most was the English breakfast. It was sumptuous and delicious. The chefs Yvette and Doreen were very friendly and kind. Our adult son who has autism enjoyed talking to them. They were patient with him. We did not realize that we had to bring our own toiletries until after we had checked in. As there were three of us, one of us had to sleep on the bunk bed. The lower bunk bed was not usable for us due to very low clearance."

"Stayed for two nights over the bank-holiday weekend. Our room was fairly small, but had a great sea view, and we were lucky enough to have a private balcony. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The shower was good, and we weren't disturbed by other guests. Breakfast included a good range of both hot and cold options, although on the hotel was very busy on the weekend we stayed and I think they were struggling to keep up. The dining room was spacious and had great views. We were lucky and managed to get a free parking space right outside the hotel. There is a car park just over the road if not, however it does get very busy. The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and the beaches. I would happily stay here again."

"We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on. The next morning I reported to reception about being awoken early due to water pipes rumbling to which I was told nobody had mentioned about before. No offer to move. Having ordered Lunch, our one childs meal was left off the order and he was left waiting. For evening Dinner, we were informed the hotel were short staffed and so could not offer the pizzas advertised on their website. This made things difficult for us having had lunch there earlier and our children having to choose from the same menu. Drinks arrived late, so we turned them away when they eventually arrived thinking that we would go elsewhere for dinner. This was on a Sunday, on my Birthday, and we had little choice but to stay as locally not much was open/and only serving roast dinners. We ordered dinner, to find that our puddings were now missed off and so we had to chase. Throughout the staff were friendly, but not very professional or offering a good service. My 2 separate complaints fell on deaf ears it would seem."
