“We spent 2 night here while sight seeing around Cornwall. We found it quite central to the places we visited. The warm and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing and going back to a good meal completed our day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
I loved the garden.

“A B&B that I will definitely stay again whenever I visit St. Austell. Warm, cozy and great location (it only takes less than 5 mins walking distance from St. Austell station, 10 mins walk to town centre) it's like going home as owner was friendly and warm, deco was warm and lovely, and most of all, home cooked and wide choice of breakfast was magnificent. I believe it is the worthiest place to stay with all these and amazingly low pricing charged. Big thumb up and highly recommended.”
“The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included.”
“This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass.
