The train’s history began in 1864, when San Francisco’s first millionaire had it built to transport visitors to Upper Napa Valley’s resort village of Calistoga. Board the train in downtown Napa just as the Napa Valley’s 19th-century tourists did. Take your seat in a beautifully restored Pullman carriage and admire the old-word finesse of the Honduran mahogany and brass interiors.

Watch the gorgeous Napa Valley agricultural preserve pass by your window as the train meanders through the rolling farmland. The train journeys through the valley’s designated American Viticulture Area and presents magnificent rural vistas of vineyards and historic wineries.

Pick from a range of combined winery tours and disembark at your chosen destination. You might visit Castello de Amorosa, the Raymond Vineyards, Grgich Hills, the Charles Krug Winery, Robert Mondavi, Merryvale or V. Sattui.
