“This was the perfect room for handicapped persons; whoever designed it knew what they were dcoing! The bed was just the right height with firm edges so you can easily sit to get dressed without worrying the mattress will sag and dump you on the floor. The bathroom had hand rails and a low step shower. Overall the room was very spacious and wheelchair friendly.”

“David and Lee are charming hosts, and very willing to help with suggestions for great restaurants, sightseeing, and shopping. Their home is stunning, and they're extremely knowledgeable about the history of Choctaw Hall and all the amazing antiques and museum quality objects of art in their home. Our room was comfortable and the common area was lovely. They provided coffee, tea, a fridge stocked with soft drinks and bottled water, and a host of snacks. We highly recommend a stay at Choctaw……

“Clean and comfortable. It was nice and quiet and there was a hot breakfast. It was just what we were looking for. We needed someplace clean to shower and sleep after doing volunteer work and this fit the bill. Also had good wifi. I had to use it for a zoom conference call and it worked perfectly.”

“This is a perfect place to relax. The beds are wonderful. The host goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. His breakfast was outstanding. The cottage has two porches to relax and have a glass of wine, read a book, or just have a quiet conversation. Any time you are in Natchez, MS. You need to stay at Stone House with your host, Joe Stone.”

“While the bedding looked, smelt and felt clean, the floor didn’t seem clean. The bathroom had some type of muck build up along the caulk in between the floor and tub. The tub itself had paint peeling off. We didn’t shower because I felt cleaner not getting in the tub. The curtains were stained and gross to the main window. The staff was nice, but that doesn’t change the way the room looked. Wouldn’t stay here again.”

“Room was clean but a hard climb to our room. If you are in any way Mobility impaired this is not the place for you. Outdoor seating and table were dirty. One tiny bar of soap for 2 people and no conditioner, just shampoo. No kleenex. Check in process was very confusing. Indicated we would receive an email with instructions, but no. Phone call, staff advised a packet by coffee maker, but no. 3rd time called a staff member on site and she showed us to our room. Breakfast voucher given for Monmouth……
