"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. My brother-in-law has mobility issues so the master bath walk-in was a life saver for him. Everything- furniture, appliances, kitchen supplies, bathrooms, etc- were well maintained and comfortable. I highly recommend these accommodations!!"

This cabin is set in Rambling Bald and had so many amenities, but being at the top of the mountain (about a 5 minute drive) still made you feel like you were in a secluded cabin. "Walking around the property is amazing for nature-loving people: plants, insects, and wild life flourish here. The cabin porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening reflections. A lot of cool, unique places are anywhere between Lake Lure to Marion. The checkin and checkout process was very easy and all basic items were available. We would stay here again!"

"This is a beautiful, clean, and very well stocked home with Spectacular Views of Lake James. We loved having the master up on the main level and the remaining bedrooms with an additional living area downstairs for our adult age children and their partners. "House was exactly as described on internet. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the water was so nice. Kitchen well stocked, and ice maker in fridge was a plus. Did not use kayaks weather was not the best for outdoors. The host was quick to all our needs. Our 93 year old mom loved it.Thank you to the Baker's ."

"Nice place. Very secluded, very quiet. Great place to go write a book! It is down a very, very long dirt road, so you need to be up for that. We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet. We were there for a show at TIEC, and it’s decently close. I would definitely stay there again- nice spot."

"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."
