“I’ve never stayed in such filthy conditions in my life. The walls and linens looked like literal crime scenes. Even the most basic swipes at cleaning have been ignored for so many years that there would be no reason to complain. Staff was nice but it was very difficult to get a 3rd and 4th towel (despite me checking in 4 people). i had to go to the office twice and beg. That said it was cheap-cheap so I guess I got what I paid for. A good value if you want a comfy-ish bed, an oversized tv, and……

“Paid for a king suite with a whirlpool tub. No tub. Ila at desk very rude and said she couldn’t do anything about it because we booked through Expedia. Also charged more than the advertised rate for a pet. Hot tub was warm not hot. Pool and hot tub area not clean. Would not come there again”

“The property was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, but I asked for a Mountain View room and was given a wheelchair accessible room, and there was so much noise above me that it felt like they were doing construction or there was a gym upstairs. This was a little upsetting because I had a long bike ride in the morning and that was the reason why I stayed there”

“Safe, quiet and clean! Spacious room. Public paved hiking trail behind the property along the Catawba River. Nice breakfast bar included.”

“We stayed in this room mid renovation. The beds were very comfortable, the best we had on our 8-night trip. The floors were updated and the entire room was clean. Parking was easy and the common areas outside were spacious and inviting. They recognize that some people have pet allergies and gave us a mostly pet free room. Much appreciated. We had a good pizza at the Mad Hatter Pizza restaurant.”

“It's always such a treat to stay here..... I literally decided to stay up in the mnts even having to drive down to Asheville for work the next morning... the place is wonderfully kept, great staff - and an amazing setting with excellent food.... Looking forward to my next visit !”

“Only issue I had was the coffee maker in my room did not work (I honestly didn't think to report it, I was there to attend a funeral and my mind was all over the place). I went to the breakfast area in search of coffee to find there was no coffee there either. I went to a fast food place nearby to get my morning coffee.”

“I booked a single queen and the room was extremely small to the point that I felt claustrophobic. Most of the room was taken up by large built-in furniture that didn’t seem to really have any purpose other than taking up space. The mini fridge rattled throughout the night and woke me up multiple times. The hairdryer in the bathroom did not work. There is free breakfast every day, but the hot options are not very appetizing. The windows in the room were not well insulated and you could hear all……
