“The room was spacious enough, but on our first day, the TV wasn't working; we were told this was an issue in all the rooms. When I asked at the reception the next morning, they were completely unaware of the problem but promised to look into it. Naturally, we received no compensation. The TV was indeed fixed on the second day. I had also booked breakfast with the room, but the meal was poor and not worth the price. The selection was very limited, and the portions were far from satisfying.”

“Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations.……
