"The outside noise from traffic, especially from semi-trucks engine-braking made it impossible to sleep!! I suspect this is a problem to ALL hotels in the area and not limited to the Budget Inn. Do not stay anywhere near the US-30/I-70 intersection if you value your sleep!! The overall quality at the Budget Inn was very good for the price."

"Toilet did not work.Unflushable. Noise of toilet running all night was only drowned out by the rattle of the air conditioner and the racket of trucks downshifting on the highway. Breakfast was dismal. When I tried the apple juice, a foul smelling brown glob was dispensed. Eggs were served in lukewarm pucks. No meat. I settled on a peelable banana, a sealed yogurt, and hot water. Shampoo in the shower had been watered in the container so it was runny. Carpet had an odd smell (pets?) and the entire room had an air freshener odor. I stayed in motels like this with my parents when I was a child, almost 60 years ago. I do not think that this motel has seen many improvements since then. "

"This was a great home to get away for a mid-week anniversary trip. The mountain view is great and gazing at the stars from the hot tub was awesome. We did not use the propane fire pit or grill during our short stay but they looked great also. The property is not close to any stores so follow the owners instructions to bring supplies and you will be very happy."
