"I almost never post reviews, but this is an exception. This was a very sub-par experience. First, when we arrived, they told us there had been a leak in the room we reserved, and the only room available was two beds; and they couldn’t have told us ahead of time so we would have the option to make other arrangements. Then, the next day, we left the room at 11, put the ‘please clean’ sign on the door, came back at 4:40 and the room wasn’t cleaned. The same person at the front desk blamed us because we didn’t leave the room early enough and didn’t notify them on time (nothing is written anywhere saying that, btw) and only after I refused to accept that and pushed back after she told me no personnel were still on site, did she acquiesce and magically find one to clean the room. They took no responsibility for anything and tried to make every situation the customer’s problem or fault. Horrible customer service and the worst front desk management I’ve ever encountered."

"Perfect place for an affordable stay with my dog. Betting it’s noisy weekends but I was there early season on weekdays, and asked for a quiet room and it was! A/C was great. Most important it was super clean. Sheets and towels were really nice all cotton which matters to me. Bed was ok. Firm enough. Coffee machine in the room. I loathed the scent of the soap and shampoo— but I usually do so bought my own. It’s a very short walk from the ferry, to restaurants, grocery store, shops and one block from the beach. They had nice beach towels. Above all the staff and cleaners wete warm and welcoming at a time when kindness mattered a lot."

"This place is terrible No napkins, No Tissue in the room. Room is cold heat does not work and no hot water . Wanted to heat my food in the lobby microwave . Which makes no sense put microwaves in room and it was beyond filthy iam surprised it did not smell . I would not know anyway because sense COViD I don’t smell or taste things well. Then I went to ask to have it cleaned and the poor guy I spoke to could not find the house keeper to clean it . Gut was walking back and looking for what I guess was the housekeeper and could find him/her . Then the people that I believed worked there didn’t care to ask me if I needed help or even try to accommodate my needs . One even asked me something that I had nothing to do with. Terrible Terrible Terrible. I will no longer book a stay here I rather pay the extra money to stay somewhere elsewhere. Whoever owns this hotel needs to redo the whole place. They should just show up with warnings to see what Iam talking about . I come here to New York to see my mother suffering from Dementia and I would like to spend my time at a place that is comfortable after seeing my mother in her state. It sad to come back to this room and can’t even enjoy my food because it is cold because I don’t want use the beyond filthy microwave."
