"Rice Cottage provides the perfect place for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and everything (absolutely everything!) you could possibly need during your stay. Thoughtful touches like night lights in every room were greatly appreciated. Our host was lovely and communication was top notch. Georgetown is the perfect destination in between Charleston and Myrtle Beach - quiet but an easy drive to either place. Would love to stay here again!"

"We were overjoyed to be staying at the property. We had very high expectations and the grounds did not disappoint! The property is beautiful; there is so much to explore. The outbuildings on the property were also gorgeous (stables and gym), they were well done & furnished with modern amenities, current decor and gorgeous bathrooms. "Checking in cost a bit of time to get the keys for the house instead of the typical door key code but once you get to the house and see how they renovated the home to it’s historic charm, it made complete sense. Just an inconvience, but they were helpful in a solution for key return. The house was great for our family and we loved the location for walking to the waterfront food and shops. We also walked to a local park several times and the locals were super friendly!"

"Vintage 1951 home and furnishings was a little tired but clean and had plenty of dishes, pans and appliances. Nice touches like extra towels, blankets, shampoo and even chocolates on the beds. Manager was very attentive and spot-on communication. Nothing fancy, and maybe a little cramped if you actually had 12 guests, but good enough for our family and pets."

"The glass to the ping-pong room is broken, which you are clearly aware of, but there is glass on the ground both inside and outside. Obvious safety concern with small children here. Open pipe in the top floor bathroom vanity which emits a septic/sewage smell. Clearly the bathroom has a double vanity which was replaced. This pipe is the drain from the removed sink BUT it was not capped/sealed. Not only is this foul, but unsafe and against any kind of building code that exists; this needs to be...
