"I was happy with the room and the service. It looks like it had been recently remolded. It's a cheap motel and that's what I wanted. However, I am giving a poor review for three items and they were all in the bathroom. The toilet set was broken and fell to the side every time I sat on it. Of the four bulbs in the lighting fixture, only one was working so the bathroom was dark. The worst though, and this is why the bad review, it looked like someone had cut their hair into the sink. "Avoid staying there at all cost, it's better to sleep in your car than there! The stench throughout the building is nauseating, our room (the only one available) was incredibly filthy, thick dust and mold everywhere, flies roaming in the room; my wife had to clean some of the most disgusting areas (inside the fridge is a particular highlight). It looks like most of the people staying there live there long-term. Hoping to block those memories forever, but so far not succeeding. "

"Perfect weather for a getaway! Great location to get to get around. Cottage was perfect for us. Fire pit was great to hang out at. Went kayaking across the street. Beautiful lake. However, the access to the lake was a wee bit steep but we are in shape to handle it. All in all it was a great time!"

"We had a lovely weekend stay for a quick family get-away. The main kitchen and living area has spectacular views onto the lake as does the deck where we spent most of our time. The lake is just across the very quiet street. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, the host super responsive and the rooms very comfortable.
