Overall, it was just okay. Don’t expect too much. it’s basically a bed and a lockable room. There was no air-conditioning, and the ceiling fan wasn’t working. However, the staff were friendly and kindly offered me a standing fan instead.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed. Giant cockroach crawled across the floor of my room. Sheets of paint peeling from walls and marks on walls and door like a horror movie. Heavy smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the hallways but thankfully not in my room. Quite far from city centre and tourist spots. Photos do not accurately represent the current state of the property - misleading, false advertising.

Not bad if you want to save money, but be weary that the walls are quite thin, and whilst i was there, other people staying had been yelling in the hallway in the middle of the night (presumably because its also a pub) But overall you get what you pay for

The property was conveniently located. The access was easy. The bathrooms were the best. Very spacious. Easy check in/check out. The staff were very helpful. The parking is only off the street. Loved the setting. Thank you.

The good the bad and the ugly!

I was surprised to find this was a room above a pub, this was not clear on hotels.com. The building was old and run down and the sub-par renovations to the bathrooms had already faded, paint chipped, missing tiles and overall uncleanliness in the communal bathroom and kitchen. The bedroom was large and roomy, sheets smelt fresh and clean. Did the job for one night stay, but we did avoid showering due to the conditions. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the food at the pub was amazing. Which definitely made the experience so much better.
Women’s shower. Is that a communal loofa? Didn’t shower here to find out.
Shared Kitchen was aged with visible grime, waterstains and cockroach baits

Extremely disappointed. I pulled up at this property after booking it on wotif 2h prior. I had my daughter with me. This place looked rundown and unsafe to stay with a child, zero parking aside from the surrounding streets with a few shady characters around. I was refused a refund despite wotif requesting multiple times. I never stayed. What a waste of time and money.
