"Great location, clean room and friendly staff and topped off with a great breakfast."

"Hotel was very good, but a little out in the sticks. The food was typical pub grub, but well cooked on the premises. No other pubs, shops or restaurants in the village and there are very few restaurants in the nearest town Bishop Auckland."

"Quirky rooms but very unclean, tv was like watching a tv from 2010 terrible quality."
