I saw pictures on the Google maps and Expedia page but to step into it is something to behold! Everything was carefully curated to the finest detail, capturing the theme of the Safari. The bed was comfortable, and there’s a balcony for some casual reading. And although we didn’t enjoy the outdoor hot tub, but there’s one inside the room with all the amenities for a great experience. We chose breakfast on the day we left and was treated to a delicious breakfast, again with beautiful decor surrounding us and details to the napkin with the dragonfly. My favourite was the eggs Benedict! The owners , Deanna and Alec, were more than accommodating. Their attention to detail makes it an extra special experience. The breakfast every morning is exceptional. The host is really friendly and kind, plus the room interior is uniquely designed yet well-balanced. We love various types of foods, and the breakfast was amazing. The proprietors are friendly and responsive. Amenities were excellent; breakfast was wonderful. One of the best parts was talking to the owners; it quickly became evident why they call it "Explorer House." The house only has three rooms and you are seated together for breakfast, enhancing the experience one gets with a true B&B. The hosts, Deana and Alec, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. A must for those who visit Niagara on the Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are separate from the rest of the house along with a mini kitchenette and lounge area for the guests. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was phenomenal! Deanna and Alec were very friendly and knowledgeable of the region. Gourmet breakfasts were amazing.
