At check-in, the front desk attendant noticed I was visiting from Canada and asked what brought me over. When I mentioned it was my birthday, Sophie or Sofie at the front desk immediately wished me a happy birthday and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. When I was indecisive between my two options, she kindly offered both as a birthday gesture. She also allowed me to park for free in their Diamond parking spot and took the time to recommend nearby places to grab a drink or a bite to eat. She was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging, which made the experience feel warm and personal rather than transactional. While it being my birthday certainly helped set the tone, the level of hospitality stood out regardless. Nothing that cracking open the balcony door couldn't fix, but it would have been nice to not have had to do that. The bar/restaurant area looked very nice, but apparently was closed for the season. The hotel was an easy walk to the Falls and all the tourist activities around there. We got caught in the rain a couple of times and there were no options for just grabbing something to eat in the room. My husband and I stayed her for our one year anniversary. We stayed in the king room with the jets tub. It was very comfortable and clean. The tub was delightful, it is not a jacuzzi tub, just makes bubbles but it’s huge and relaxing. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating.
