Small older roadside motel -- but a clean and quiet older roadside motel. If you want a Hyatt, this isn't it, but if you want a safe and quiet place to sleep, this is it.

Staying here was a pleasure! From the owner being so helpful, to the walkable beach access, and the nearby food we were excited to find this hotel with also a good price. The room was clean and comfortable, the check in and out process smooth, and we liked the inner courtyard garden area. Will definitely look to book here again for future stays

Clean room, not a lot of extras but good value. Manager extremely friendly and attentive. It is an older property but well maintained. Put me in mind of Myrtle Beach type properties in the 70s and 80s.

I cannot rave enough about this gem. Every time my sister and I are in the Norfolk or Hampton area this is our choice for lodging. We know we can count on a smooth and swift check in, and clean rooms!

The Bay Inn absolutely exceeded our expectations. The husband/wife couple who run the inn are so kind and welcoming. We chatted about their garden, met their dog, and said hi every morning of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and in a fantastic location. My friend and I would love to stay here again!

This was a great place to stay, especially because we didn't want to pay for extra amenities we weren't going to use. Everything was clean and it's walking distance to water and a great diner around the corner. Definitely recommend.
