"Hotel was so clean and all new. I loved their sauna and spa. Just hope spa pool temperature should be more hot. All others were perfect."

"This place has some bad reviews but we found it to be great for the price. Check in was easy, rang number on the door and the manager appeared with a key. The room was spacious. Yes it is older but it is clean, beds were comfy and towels and sheets looked new. Despite being on a main road and we were in unit #1 near the road it was quiet. Milford shops are 10 min drive and 24hr petrol places 1 min up the road."

"This is our close get away from home via public transport. Less than half an hour from Auckland CBD on NX1 bus. Nice unit. Needed a bit of maintenance, but did not colour our stay. Close to ++ cafes and restaurants. 20 minute walk to Albany Mall."

"We loved the view ! We were able to see the ocean, food was fantastic and fun shops in walking distance. The hot tubs and pool and sauna were welcome after trekking about the beach all day. One mistake I made caused me to pay extra on the way home because my check in was over weight- I should have packed less and washed my clothes there. All in all great place to stay!"

"Nice motel which is a short walk from Orewa centre and directly across from beach. Our room was newly renovated and was spotless and spacious with everything you would need. Parking is a bit tight but adequate with street parking available if you have a large vehicle."
