"We needed a safe place to park our e‑bikes overnight, and the staff went out of their way to lock them up securely for us. The Campbell House is such a beautiful historic bed and breakfast, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Eugene. The location is perfect for walking to many of the fun things the city has to offer, and we especially love how close it is to the river trail bike system and the city’s extensive network of bike lanes. Breakfast is another highlight: a delicious choice of sweet or savory, always served with a warm scone and fresh fruit to start the day right. And when you return, the beautifully manicured lawn and garden offer a peaceful retreat away from the busy city. It’s thoughtful touches like these that make the Campbell House truly special."

"I was disappointed to get a second floor room with no elevators. As a disabled traveler it was extremely difficult to get my luggage to my room. I received a call near midnight from the office stating my card on file declined and they needed immediate resolution. Unfortunately at the time notified I wasn't able to contact my bank nor resolve the issue with cash or a linked account transfer. I expressed my disappointment that this wasn't already completed at my check in when I would have been able to handle banking correspondence during working hours. However, with all of that said, the front desk did end up working out a solution that was appreciated greatly."

"Upon check in, I would say it was disappointing to get a second floor room with no elevator and a huge suitcase i had to lug up the stairs as a disabled person. Additionally, I received a call near midnight that my credit card had declined and I was required to come down to the office immediately to resolve. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected banking issue and with the time of notice was unable to create a solution for payment. I voiced my concern that this wasn't caught on check in when I could have called and potentially resolved the issue. The bright side was that the employee went above and beyond after she saw the efforts I was making and created a solution that worked until the next morning. Again with misfortune, I had to call emergency services for a medical issue and was carted away by ambulance bef9re being able to confirm resolution. Today I was able to confirm with my bank that the charge did go through and they were paid for my stay. The employee that went above and beyond should be acknowledged for the extra effort, specifically because of my medical emergency and how much worse it would have been if I was unable to at minimum stay for the night."

"What a gem. Beautifully renovated central area and bathroom (including a fantastic rain shower). I love the classic NW motel feel. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Slept great. The staff are friendly and helpful. But my favorite part was the breakfast: really tasty and fresh and they had gluten free bread, which made my morning. Thoughtful details make a difference."
