Beautiful, quaint and loaded with the essentials. Quiet, private and clean pool and hot tub area. Quiet and respectful neighbors. Beautiful area and views, especially at sunset.

The location was quite nice and the rooftop happy hour was pleasant. However, the rooms are terribly outdated. You can’t even attempt to put any makeup on in the room because it is poorly lit. The fireplace randomly came on in the middle of the night and the hot tub was out of order. We stayed two nights. The hotel was empty because they had had a fire in the main building which closed most of the most amenities and we had the awesome shuttle service to ourselves. We won’t stay there again.

Tucked just far enough off the plaza to escape the siren song of low-gear tourist traffic, the Inn at Vanessie exists in that sweet, intentional pocket of Santa Fe: close enough to inhale the distant, wood-fired scent of downtown, but blissfully removed from its midday clamor. It is less of a hotel and more of a quiet, sun-baked refuge where the frantic pace of the modern world simply dissolves into the high-desert air. The Spirit of the Space: Stepping onto the grounds feels like inheriting a well-kept secret. With only a handful of exclusive keys to go around, the property completely bypasses the anonymous, bustling energy of larger resorts. Instead, it offers an intimate layout that feels like staying at the private compound of a well-traveled, quietly affluent uncle—the kind who understands that luxury is best delivered without a neon sign. The aesthetic is pure Southwestern poetry, balancing authentic rustic charm with a distinct, old-money. What Sets the Sanctuary Apart Generous Proportions: The rooms here don't merely accommodate; they breathe. The layout offers sprawling, expansive square footage that mirrors the wide-open New Mexico skies, giving you ample space to unpack both your luggage and your thoughts.

This was a resort property that had a restaurant /dining room that had awesome food and reasonable prices. It was quite convenient. The maintenance office was very responsive to a problem we had initially with the AC. Laurie (Lorrie?) was super helpful. The unit we rented (312) had an underground garage parking spot right next to the elevator. Also very convenient. The unit itself had every amenity you could want including a full Xfinity TV cable lineup. The report also has an executive golf course with very reasonable rates for vacationers to play. My only complaint (very minor) was that there was not really a separate bedroom TV. There was a monitor that you could watch whatever the person in the living room was watching...but no way to get separate channels.. Overall I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a comfortable resort-style experience in Santa Fe.

There was no internet! And when we asked if the staff would clean the room after the first day of our 2 day stay, they said that they are a “time share” and do not provide cleaning services. At least the rooms were spacious and clean at The time of check in.
