“We stayed in tent for 2 nights, easy check-in, peaceful location, closer to Lassen NP.”

“The pictures of the cabin are accurate. It is very cozy inside, and the outdoor living area is quite nice. There is a little general store attached to the office. Well stocked with incidentals like charcoal for the grill. The only drawback is there are only 2 showers for the 4 cabins and all the other camping and glamping spots. There are only 4 toilets for men, and 2 of those toilets had showers. There were long lines for toilets and showers in the mornings and the evenings. Would I go back? My……

“It is rustic, needs updates, not fancy but location to Mt Lassen is ideal. Offers lots of levels of camping from tent options, RV spots to little cabins. The host is helpful and attentive.”

“Swimming in the river was the best part of the trip. Bring your water shoes; there are rocks and I almost lost my sandals three times . Bring an extra fan for the tent. If you are in a tent; bring a portable umbrella for the outside. Our bench was not covered by the trees most of the day and the sun was strong. It is hot in the tent during the summer; that’s when you go swimming or hiking during the day. We recommend going to riverfront park trail; it’s an easy hike 20 mins drive from……
