The staff are very pleasant and the location is excellent. However, the room advertised as King does not have a King bed, it's a Queen. The room was a bit beat up: scratches, paint damage, etc. and linens (towels, sheets, etc.) were just OK. The edge of the shower is graded incorrectly, so water puddles on the floor. Lastly, multiple times the elevator floor was dirty; they may not have enough cleaning staff to keep up.

"We always love staying at the Blue Chip when we come to town. Just if you don’t book directly through the hotel website they will always put you on the old hotel side. Which isn’t that bad, but everything is pretty dated on this side."

"Clean room. Staff extremely polite. Breakfast was outstanding. With construction underway, didn't get the full experience of the Inn. Very grateful for the first floor room next to the side exit to let my dog out quickly and quietly. The grounds were wonderful to walk my dog on, so peaceful!"
