Previously, location has been it's only plus point, though I am happy to say that on this occasion, everything was improved, including restaurant food quality, service throughout the hotel and ambience. Well done The Orchard for your improvements."

"Receptionist was friendly/good manner and also let us check in free early. Great location with lots of restaurants/bars and shops. Room is clean, good hairdryer, spacious in twin bedroom. Plenty storage space. 2 chairs and 2 tables. Good quality shampoo, hair conditioner and hand washer. Nescafe coffee/decaf and Yorkshire tea bags. "

"We stayed with our grown up children for a night to catch up and relax together. The hotel is lovely and spacious and even though they had a Christmas party going on we didn't feel that we had been pushed out. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was good. There was a minor hiccup with the order but resolved with no fuss.We used the spa facilities which were all clean and working. We had to wait to use the sauna steam and jacuzzi, it was quite busy and there was no restriction on the amount time you can spend in each so some stayed in the sauna for quite a while meaning many were waiting to use it. We still enjoyed our time there nevertheless. "

"We have stayed at this hotel many times when visiting family and are always so impressed by the friendly helpful staff at reception. The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are large with an enormous bed! Breakfast is excellent too. "

"Really nice room, large for the price. TV is always top notch to use and internet speeds decent enough for streaming and working. Only thing I felt was lacking was breakfast. After seeing how great the hotel looks in all other areas I expected a breakfast on the same level but it felt very underwhelming. Wasn’t much selection but good enough to fill yourself up. "
