“I had a wonderful stay at the Amethyst Inn for the Victoria Marathon weekend. Staying in a historic Victorian mansion added such a unique and relaxing charm to the trip.
One of my biggest worries when traveling for a race is logistics, but the free forecourt parking made parking completely seamless and stress-free. The daily breakfast throughout my stay was absolutely exceptional—delicious, hearty, and served beautifully.

“Great location, friendly long term staff, nice charm and well maintained for an older house. Two things worth noting is the bed was sunk in the middle and could use an update, and the wifi had very slow speeds. However we would stay here again.”

“The boathouse is a unique place to stay, but it does require some extra effort to access. Fisherman's Wharf is an extremely busy and chaotic tourist area. If you are driving, you have to temporarily park in a loading area (hopefully there is space), and walk to the boat to meet the owner who lives in the upper level.
