“Terrible! This property is sadly neglected and has unacceptable aesthetic, and maintenance deficiencies. Our dingy room featured a worn-out mattress, shabby furnishings, peeling wallpaper, scruffy well-worn paint. The bedding was discoloured and heavily wrinkled. The property grounds disappointed too, as these areas are also in a state of disrepair, including an overgrown weed filled garden and a terrace cluttered with an unsightly pile of outdoor furniture stacked carelessly against the……

“Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!”

“Staff was exceptional and kind. They let us store luggage before check in and after check out which was incredibly helpful. Lodging was clean and roomy! Breakfast was delicious and charming. Navigating the bus system was easy peasy as well which added to the charm! Would recommend staying here and would happily stay here again.”

You are ‘welcomed” with signs about the keypad to get in, signs asking guests to “lose your shoes” and inspirational quotes such as “Arrive as strangers, leave as friends.” Unfortunately, this didn’t reflect our experience, as we didn’t meet the people running the property On the positive side, we were allowed an early check-in, which was much appreciated. There is also a large communal lounge and a well-equipped guest kitchen. However, our room was incredibly small……
