Chose to make reservation at this hotel for our trip to Branson primarily because they are dog friendly and the prices were reasonable. However, the experience of staying at this hotel is not one we care to repeat. Very poor customer service at check in (smartalec, unhelpful) - would have changed hotels at that point but had made nonrefundable reservation. Hard time finding room (road to back part of hotel is hidden by shadow of hotel from street light making it very hard to see after dark, hotel staff not helpful in navigating this issue). A/C in one of our rooms made a screeching sound, so not much sleep the first night of our stay. Had to insist on a room relocation (staff did not offer despite the hotel being practically vacant all 5 days we were there, instead suggested keeping the same room saying they would "send maintenance to fix it when they get here"). Hotel is built on a very steep incline, so walking to the front office is very difficult if your room is located in their second building. While they do allow dogs, the only grassy area that dogs had to use the bathroom was replete with very high weeds (over 1.5 feet high) making potty breaks for our smaller dog a real challenge until 3rd day of our stay when grass was finally mowed. There appeared to be someone living in the hotel in the room(s) above us. Positives for this hotel: reasonable rates, comfortable mattresses, hot water. We typically stay in modest hotels, but this one is on our 'do not return' list.
