Bathroom needs a coat of paint and there no hair dryer in the room but, otherwise, a very comfortable stay. King size bed was great and location is excellent.

This is a neat little hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. They left us snacks and bottles of water in the room. The room was decorated very cute in a horse theme. I would stay again.

Part of the listing does not match the property. While the attendant was friendly at check in, and the room was clean enough to consider acceptable, the bed was absolutely terrible. We could visibly see the mattress sunk in at the middle when we walked into the room. (The picture of the room on the motel’s website does not show the bed in that condition.) We also did not have the hydro-massage shower head that the website claims is there, which is not a huge deal, but the water would not even turn all the way to hot. There were no blackout curtains or drapes of any kind. The room had blinds. The motel is located on a busy street, so there was street noise (revving engines, loud music, and sirens) throughout most of the night. While we appreciate the “old time” charm of the property, it could really use a little TLC to make it better - starting with the mattress in room #3.

We stayed here two years ago and found this little place charming. Since then it’s become run down and no longer charming. The grounds around the entry to the rooms are full of weeds, the parking lot is all cracked and full of potholes, and the outside doors are all faded and beat up. There was never anyone in the office (the person still cleaning our room 40 minutes after check in time had to get someone to check us in). The biggest plus to this place is the proximity to the downtown (we walked to dinner) and a Starbucks just a block away.

You get what you pay for. Our room was clean enough (dusty baseboards, slightly sticky microwave, otherwise fine) and indifferently maintained (the towel bar in the bathroom had been torn off the wall & not replaced, and we didn’t get housekeeping service either of the two full days we stayed), but the bed was comfortable, the innkeeper was responsive when we contacted him, and being able to walk to downtown restaurants, etc. was great. If you’re looking for a safe, inexpensive place to sleep and not much else, this is a solid choice.

The room was clean but stark. Appears to be a painted cement floor. The electric fireplace was a very nice touch. Nice small hotel. I liked the lighted gazebo sitting area out near the road. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was wonderful and property was clean. Aside from that I was reminded wgy I don’t like staying in Motels, the road traffic was VERY loud. Also took a very long time for the shower to get “hot”, we only had one roll of toilet paper and the renovations were very… very average. You get what you pay for here, it’s a great cheap clean option.
