We have stayed at Temple Bar Inn a few times before, so we felt confident booking it again for our stay. But this time two things made us less impressed than we had been before. Our room was significantly smaller than our previous stays. We were at the back side of the Inn, which certainly cut down on the street noise that is ever present on Fleet Street. But the room was tight, and, second concern, it was incredibly hot. The provided fan did help a little, but when we opened the windows, the noise from all the ventilation systems behind the Inn was deafening around the clock. I think we would have preferred the street noise. As well, there was some plumbing issue that meant there was always only warm water coming from the tiny faucet in the tiny sink, even from the cold water tap, as if they plumbed the two water pipes too closely to each other. Staff was lovely as always. The room was cleaned every day, even when we didn't request it. So no complaints about the services, just our particular room.

We absolutely loved this property! The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible - I’ve never eaten so many scones before! The hotel is charming and very clean. We loved its proximity to DART and quaint neighborhood. We returned very late at night on the light rail and felt totally safe walking in the neighborhood. We would stay here again.
