St Laurences Gate offers an interesting insight into the area's past. Glance up at the walls and try to visualize the scenes that took place around it throughout its history.
You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice when visiting Drogheda. St Laurence's Gate is a good place to kick off here, but there are loads of other fine places to visit. Newgrange, Funtasia Waterpark, and County Louth Golf Club are close to the historic structure and will top off your day nicely.
