Beautiful place
Beautifully renovated condo in a classic lake Michigan resort town. We are thinking about returning next year. If you’re new to Vrbo, be careful of the up charges. We were a little surprised by the overall ticket price. .There were a couple of cleaning issues: The coffee maker wasn’t clean, there was a Q-tip in the fold out couch, and all the doors squeaked so we oiled them. Duncan, our contact person, didn’t return the message we left. Thankfully, it wasn’t an emergency.

Fruit flies
It was a great resort but the condo was infested with fruit flies. Apple cider vinegar in the fridge when we got there should have tipped us off! We thought they were bugs from lake but no they kept multiply when we were gone all day. Made a trap with the vinegar and caught over 59 in an hour. Contacted evolve and property contact. They bombed it today after we left. Feel as if we should be compensated for ruining our last night of vacation.

Comfortable quarters, with just enough room for the three of us. My grandson loved the pool, hot tub, but loved fishing off the dock the most!

Good condo
We had a great stay at the Onekama condo. It's perfect for 2 people. Very clean and right on Portage Lake w/ an awesome balcony view. Access to Lake Michigan was minutes down the road. Stayed here because it was close to Arcadia Bluffs golf course. Ate at Rosie's Place, Lakeside Cafe, and the Glenwood. We liked everything about Onekama, Portage Lake, and the surrounding communities.
