“Room was not very clean. It was dusty and there was pet hair on the curtains and human hair on top of the shower head. There was remodeling constructions to the other parts of the building which was occasionally loud with power tools. Unit had an exterior door that accesses the roof from the bathroom. Not recommended for guests with kids because of this. The room was not very comfortable and had few amenities. Fewer than a motel room. I requested an extra towel because we were missing one. We……

“The host failed to ensure that I received my check-in instructions prior to my stay. I arrived at midnight and was unable to access the room. I sat in the hallway for an hour while the vrbo customer service team tried at least 3 different times to get a hold of the host. Ultimately I was unable to access the rental unit and had to find other accommodations at 1 in the morning. This was after I spent 10 hours driving and was utterly exhausted.”
